Version V2.5
This version is the last release of v2, the website will be redesigned in the next update (v3). Today though, speed enhancements have been made, The footer has been changed, the forum has been added (for testing) and layout changes made.
Version V2.2
Added videos and more interactive content as well as optimising large photos for quicker loading.
Version V2.1
Fixed all links referring to old website.. Cleaned up and optimised processes at the back end including upgrading proxy server. Monetisation paused. airfields page, donations and airfield timeline fixed.

Version number changed to match older releases. Monetisation process begun. currently there are bare minimum of ads. Added more information and made current pages richer. New pages begun, raf airfields and events. The site is mostly complete.

Website release. Links changed, database updated. Split from jd.
SEO updates lodged for 490th.co.uk on google to reflect 490th.com fully linked with nginx. Full round of updates; nginx, linux, win. Critical error fixed on older safari versions. Minification and local cache enabled.
Version A04
*URL CHANGE*
490th.com made and linked, dns changes complete, forwarding set up to work with other sites on server. 490th.co.uk to be transferred later in the year. Page empty placeholders added for UX. Donate, trails, contact, advertisers, and the archive pages have been reworded and nearly finalised. Back end extensive updates.

Made new archive page and linked to the actual archive.
Lots of touch ups and design fixes.
